First off, we’ve expanded! Yeah, we stuffed ourselves with loads of homemade Christmas treats over the holidays, but that’s not what we meant. Little More Love is now in Pune! (woot woot)
Next, Christmas! And you know what that means; that’s right, carol singing and loads of fun! Feliz Navidad 2014 was bigger and better, filled with carols, cookies, laughter and love. We went door-to-door, singing carols and spreading the joy of Christmas, as we have been doing since 2012. This time we were welcomed warmly into the homes of several residents in Pune. We absolutely loved the response we received from both cities; funds were raised for future events, and mouths were stuffed with delicious homemade plum cakes and rose cookies!
We also visited Apollo Cradle! What joy it brought us to sing carols to little babies and their mommies!
The highlight of the season was Feliz Navidad 2014 – Carols at the ADDA, in collaboration with Urban ADDA.
20th December, 2014 was an evening filled with music and melody, featuring Spaghetti in the City. All donations were used as funds for our upcoming project, Lifeline.
We had a blast this winter! Christmas is a special time for all of us. It is a season that brings us together in every possible way, something which is a rare phenomenon in today’s hustle and bustle. We thank all those who were a part of Feliz Navidad ’14 – your help sure did reach out to those who needed that extra bit of hope and cheer this Christmas.
Christmas is a tonic for our souls. It moves us to think of others rather than of ourselves. It directs our thoughts to giving.
