ALS Ice Bucket Challenge – The LML Way!

So, the ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) Ice Bucket Challenge was doing rounds across the globe with millions challenging each other to dump a bucket of iced or ice-cold water on themselves, while donating funds towards the noble work carried out by the ALS Association. We were pretty impressed by the rapidly snowballing fund-raising and awareness campaign! But we were also concerned about the amount of water that was being consumed for the purpose. According to Project Humanity, 25,000 people die everyday because they lack access to clean water.

We recognised the benefits of the Ice Bucket Challenge, and also the wastage of water, if we dare say so! So we put on our thinking caps (these were quite dusty; we hadn’t used them in a while) and came up with a creative way to spread awareness and raise funds while utilizing water in a productive way.

Ladies and gentlemen, presenting, the Ice Bucket Challenge – The LML Way! (yes, click on the link)

So go ahead, spread awareness and save precious resources!

Also, there is an NGO in India, Asha Ek Hope, that is dedicated to helping people with ALS as well!
