Fun Fete 2014

November 5, 2016

April is a special month! It’s the month to enjoy the summer sun, don those colorful outfits and enjoy the outdoors-y weather. But what makes April all the more special is that it is the Autism Awareness Month! To make the best use of this time, Little More Love helped The Com DEALL Trust in organizing a fete on the 5th to raise awareness about Autism.

The Com DEALL Trust is an indigenously developed, early-intervention program for children with developmental disabilities such as Autism Spectrum disorder. According to Wikipedia, a child with autism has a disorder of neural development characterized by impaired social interaction, verbal and non-verbal communication, and by restricted, repetitive or stereotyped behavior. According to us, a child with autism is different, just like each one of us. These bundles of joy just need a little more love! So we were more than excited to join The Com DEALL Trust in celebrating World Autism Awareness day at the Fun Fete 2014 organized by them.

Every child is different and unique. Children with autism are just like us, yet unique in a special way. They need a little patience and understanding from us, and then they will open us up to a beautiful world of love and mutual respect.  So just remember, it is YOU who make the difference, with one little act of kindness.
